Job summary

Maimonides Medical Center in New York seeks a Director of Magnet and Nursing Excellence to lead Magnet readiness, gap analysis, and designation efforts across the system’s hospitals and sites. You will partner with the CNO and nursing leaders, oversee data and reporting (NDNQI, Magnet), and drive engagement strategies across MMC, Midwood Community Health, and ambulatory locations.

Requires a Master’s in nursing or health administration, NYS RN license, 3–5 years of leadership; Doctorate

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing or related field.
• Current NYS license as RN required.
• Doctorate in Nursing or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads Magnet application, readiness assessment, and designation processes.
• Collaborates with CNO and Nursing Excellence team to maintain standards.
• Manages ND NQI, Magnet reports, and engagement surveys.
• Coordinates across MMC, Midwood Community Health, and ambulatory locations.
