Job summary

Tyson Foods in Madison, NE is hiring for general production positions on A & B shifts at the Madison Ham Plant. Work includes low to intermediate labor such as placing hams on machinery to be sliced, operating bandsaws, and bagging hams in a fast-paced meat processing facility.

The role requires physical endurance in a cold, damp environment (35–45°F), standing, lifting up to 65 lbs, and working six days a week with Sundays possible during peak season.

Physical Requirements

The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Must be willing and able to Stand, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching are involved in all areas continuously. May involve climbing stairs/ladders. Must be willing and able to work in the following environment: Environment is cold and damp. Temperature ranges from 35 to 45 degrees. Lifting requirement varies from 0-65 lbs. Must be able and willing to work 6 days a week, Monday-Saturday. With occasional Sundays possible during the busy season.
