Job summary

Hudson River Trading in New York seeks an Endpoint Engineer to own macOS endpoint strategy within our Enterprise Technology team, improving uptime and user experience for the firm.

You will support technicians, act as escalation for macOS engineering and deployment issues, and design scalable solutions that reduce recurring problems.

Deep knowledge of macOS, MDM tooling, and scripting will help you educate users and document best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge and experience with macOS
• Experience provisioning, deploying, and maintaining macOS endpoints using ABM/MDM (Jamf Pro, Workspace One, Intune)
• Experience with macOS packaging and deployment tools AutoPkg and Munki
• Proficiency with Bash or Python
• Familiarity with enterprise networking (802.1X, Wi-Fi, IPv4) and collaboration/ticketing tools

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a best-in-class end user computing experience
• Troubleshoot day-to-day issues with a hands-on approach; escalation point for macOS engineering, security, and deployment across HRT
• Investigate recurring problems, provide long-term solutions, and document for future reference
• Research, test, and implement best practices for our technical stack and processes
• Educate end users on best practices and help improve adoption of effective workflows and tools
