Curtiss-Wright Corporation is seeking a Machinist & Welder in Round Rock, TX, onsite. You will set up work areas, perform routine welding, brazing, and fabrication, and read blueprints to meet quality standards. Training may be provided for welding techniques and shop safety.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of related experience, basic metal knowledge, and the ability to follow procedures and drawings. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years welding/brazing/fabrication or related experience.
• Basic knowledge of metals, welding equipment, and shop safety.
• Familiarity with welding methods: SMAW, GMAW, FCAW.

Responsibilities

• Set up work area, tools, fixtures, and equipment per instructions.
• Perform routine welding, brazing, metal joining, and fabrication per approved methods.
• Read and follow blueprints, sketches, drawings, and verbal instructions.
• Operate metal removing, joining, and supporting equipment using basic math.
• Support documentation, quality checks, and safe work practices.
