Job summary

Diamond Wire Spring Co. is seeking a mechanically skilled Machinist/Tool Maker/ Machine Operator to build, repair, and maintain tools and fixtures used in our manufacturing process.

You will set up and operate lathes, mills, grinders and other tools, read drawings, and inspect parts to ensure quality. Ideal candidates possess experience with machine tools and measuring equipment, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to work safely for extended periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with machine tools and measuring equipment.
• Strong mechanical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Ability to stand and operate machinery for extended periods.
• Tool-making experience, vocational training, and CNC knowledge preferred but not required.
