Location: US - Texas - Abernathy

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and machinery
  • Pull parts for orders following S.O.P. (Standard Operating Procedures)
  • Learn procedures on how to build all pumps
  • Build pumps
  • Test pumps in established testing center
  • Use forklift/pallet jacks to move materials, parts, finished product or load/unload trucks
  • Conduct preventive maintenance before operating machinery
  • Lift 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout an eight-hour workday
  • Stand and work for extended periods of time during work hours
  • Machine parts to specifications according to work orders, keeping within branch Q.C. requirements
  • Responsible for maintaining and using precision measuring tools in accordance to shop requirements
  • Interact with customers with a professional attitude
  • Use table saw/skill saw to create finished product for shipping purposes
  • Perform other related duties as needed

  • Operate horizontal engine lathe and vertical mill accurately and safely

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
  • Apply problem solving techniques to moderately complex issues
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Certificates and Licenses
  • Forklift Certified
