Orion Steel Group, L.L.C. is seeking a skilled Machinist to join our Pueblo, Colorado maintenance team. You will machine, disassemble and assemble parts for equipment and machines, reading blueprints and ensuring precision while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires 1–3 years in heavy industry welding/fabrication and a Machining Apprenticeship or AAS in Machining Technology. Valid CO driver’s license and ability to work in varied environments are essential.

Formación

• 1–3 years of fabrication and welding in heavy industry or mining.
• Proficiency in machining technology and precise alignment.
• Ability to read prints and calculate dimensions precisely.
• Valid Colorado Driver's License.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision and time management.

Responsabilidades

• Operate lathes, mills, and grinders to machine parts as directed.
• Read prints and plan work according to blueprints and measurements.
• Test, inspect, dismantle, assemble and repair machined products.
• Maintain safety rules and keep workspace clean and orderly.
• Perform routine maintenance and assist maintenance personnel.
• Work in indoor/outdoor environments with exposure to noise and chemicals.
