Job summary

Trillium Construction is seeking a Manual Machinist in East Chicago, IN to set up and run manual mills and drill presses, producing precision parts to tight tolerances in a fast-paced shop. You must read prints and work independently on first shift with potential overtime.

Travelers receive a $770/week per diem; pay is up to $34/hour DOE. Mon-Fri schedule on first shift with overtime potential at times.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manual machining experience (mills & drills).
• Ability to read prints and perform math from drawings.
• Own precision measuring tools (6-inch OD/ID micrometers) required.
• Must be able to pass pre-screenings.

Trillium Construction is seeking a Manual Machinist in East Chicago, IN!

The Manual Machinist will be setting up and operating manual vertical and horizontal mills (up to 40" diameter capacity) and drill presses to produce precision parts in a fast-paced shop. Must be able to work independently, read prints, and hold tight tolerances.

Pay rate is up to $34/hour DOE per hour with $770/week per diem for travelers. Schedule is Mon - Fri with overtime potential. 1st shift.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manual machining experience (mills & drill presses)
• Strong ability to read blueprints and do math calculations off drawings
• Own precision measuring tools (at least 6‑inch OD/ID micrometers)
• Ability to pass pre‑screenings
