Job summary

Trillium Construction in East Chicago, IN is seeking a Pump Mechanic to disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble a range of industrial pumps in a busy shop setting alongside a lead mechanic.

Duties include replacing bearings, seals, and sleeves, polishing shafts on a lathe, and reading assembly diagrams and blueprints to ensure proper tolerances. Travelers may receive per diem; schedule is Monday to Friday with overtime potential, first shift.

Qualifications

• Experience disassembling, repairing, and reassembling industrial pumps/ rotating equipment.
• Ability to read assembly diagrams and blueprints.
• Own complete set of standard mechanical hand tools.
• Ability to pass pre-screenings.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble industrial pumps.

Trillium Construction is seeking a Pump Mechanic in East Chicago, IN!

The Pump Mechanic will be disassembling, inspecting, repairing, and reassembling a variety of industrial pumps (from small precision pumps up to 20,000 lbs). Duties include replacing bearings, seals, and sleeves, polishing shafts on a lathe, and reading diagrams. All work will be performed in a shop environment working alongside a lead mechanic.

Pay rate is up to $36per hour DOE with $770/week per diem for travelers. Schedule is Mon - Fri with overtime potential. 1st shift.
