Job Description:

Seeking a Machinist for a leading technology company in Chelmsford, MA. Looking for candidates with rework PCB assembly and 3D printing machinist experience. Entry-level experience is acceptable if you have programming skills from 3D models. If lacking 3D modeling experience, multiple years of relevant experience are required, especially for higher rates.

Job Details:

• Location: Chelmsford, MA
• Shift: Day shift, Full-Time (Monday-Thursday) 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with potential for overtime
• PPE Required: Steel toes

What You'll Do:

• Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and products following work instructions and drawings.
• Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain product quality.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and work processes.
• Select and install cutting tools, adjust machine settings, and monitor machining processes for quality and accuracy.
• Set up and operate precision machine tools to produce parts, tools, and mechanisms.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Maintain accurate data related to production processes.
• Collaborate with team members to improve throughput and support continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For:

• Basic computer skills, including navigation of digital systems for timekeeping and work instructions.
• Proficiency in basic math for measurements and calculations.
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations.
• Familiarity with CAD and CAM software, with entry-level programming from engineering models.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of ESD procedures and machine equipment.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability, with a desire to learn and grow.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Safety shoes are required for this position.
