Job summary

CIRCOR Pumps North America in Monroe, NC is seeking a warehouse associate to unload, load, receive, and ship pumps and parts. You will follow drawings and instructions, keep records, and maintain a clean, orderly work area.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, perform basic math, and ensure accurate shipping records and inventory controls per procedures and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and charts.
• Read drawings and setup cards and use measuring instruments accurately.
• Maintain accurate location, quantity and date records for parts and pumps.

Responsibilities

• Unload, load, receive, unpack, stack, store, handle and issue parts and pumps.
• Prepare and distribute shipping records and maintain orderly work areas.
• Follow instructions and work with drawings, setup cards, and tables as required.
• Record keeping of locations, quantities and issues using manual or data collection systems.

Job description

• Be able to unload, load, receive, unpack, stack, store, handle, locate, issue, deliver and record, identify, mark and preserve all types and sizes of parts, pumps, materials and supplies, ship off system, and prepare and distribute shipping record.
• Be able to follow verbal and written instructions; read and work to drawings, setup cards, charts and tables with or without job tag instructions.
• Keep records such as location, quantities, issues, dates, etc. using manual or data collection system.
• Keep working area, bins, racks, machines, equipment in clean, orderly condition.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

• Use of mathematics together with the use of charts, tables, various types of measuring instruments and scales.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to define routine problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret basic technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
• While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The associate is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. The associate may, in rare occasions lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
