Job summary

CIRCOR Pumps North America in Monroe, NC is seeking a Machinist II for the Large Case/HMC3 on second shift.

You will set up and operate milling, turning, drilling, and grinding machines, perform hydro test prep, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances using precision measuring tools. Strong blueprint reading and safety discipline required.

Candidate should have high school diploma and substantial machining experience, with preference for HMC experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of advanced trades mathematics and reading complex drawings.
• Ability to read blueprints, charts, and process specifications.
• Requires personal safety equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
• 10 years machining experience OR 3-4 years HMC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate milling, turning, drilling, reaming, boring, tapping, grinding and other operations.
• Deburr and hydro test parts and perform inspection checks for accuracy.
• Clamp parts, select fixtures, and set tools; verify dimensions with measuring instruments.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety; use CBS visual management board for scheduling.
