Job summary

CIRCOR International, Inc. is seeking a skilled machinist for a 2nd shift in Tampa to set up and operate CNC lathe/mill and manual machines. You will edit programs, adjust speeds/feeds, and verify dimensions against drawings using precision instruments.

Responsibilities include preparing fixtures, deburring, reporting issues, and training entry-level staff. Emphasis on safety and 6S. Candidates should have 2–5 years of machining and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of machining experience.
• Able to set up and operate CNC machines.
• Understand G codes and M codes.
• Read drawings/blueprints and determine dimensions.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible shifts.
• Maintain safety in a 6S environment.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders and drawings; obtain fixtures and tools.
• Set up and operate CNC/manual lathes and mills for production.
• Edit speeds/feeds and tool angles per drawings.
• Debur, degrease, and perform quality checks.
• Train entry level machinists and report issues
• Maintain orderly work area and follow safety policies.
