RBC Bearings in Franklin, Indiana, is seeking a Machinist II for Airtomic Ducting Solutions. You will work in a high-mix, low-volume environment on tooling and fixtures for production use, under the Operations Supervisor.

The role requires reading blueprints, setting up manual mills and lathes, and writing/proving out programs for Acu-Rite CNC mill retrofit. FAA repair station experience and attention to safety are valued.

Qualifikationen

• Read engineering blueprints and approved technical data.
• Knowledge of tooling speeds and feeds, offsets.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Aufgaben

• Act proactively supporting safety at all times.
• Produce tooling and fixtures for production use using machining skills.
• Use inspection tools to ensure tools and parts meet drawing requirements.
• Ensure machine PMs are complete and equipment is in good working order.
• Bead blast product as required and perform in-process inspection.
• Polishing and basic blending of product; ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Build inspection fixtures under guidance and operate manual mills/lathe.
• Communicate with coworkers and adapt to fast-paced environment.
