Job summary

This frontline role involves operating machine tools, maintaining quality through precise measurement, and supporting team members.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent plus 3–5 years of related machinist experience.
• Journeyman Certificate is a plus.
• Knowledge of machinist tools and precision measuring instruments desired.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of machine tools to perform specified operations.
• Make minor feeds and speeds adjustments on tooling.
• Grind cutting tools and drills.
• Check parts with gauges and fixtures to ensure dimensions.
• Report improper function and maintain quality records.
• Assist and train less experienced colleagues.
• Maintain attendance and follow safety procedures.
