What is the Position?

This role involves developing programs for CNC equipment to perform innovative operations, executing complex setups, and operating machinery with high precision and critical finishes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Achieve and maintain Operator Authorization(s) as required.
2. Set up fixture components for CNC and manual machines.
3. Set machine origins according to setup instructions.
4. Machine to specified dimensions, maintaining tight tolerances.
5. Set and load tools following setup instructions.
6. Work from blueprints, material requests, and work instructions.
7. Use precision instruments to inspect parts and features.
8. Train other Machinists as needed.
9. Manage material requests and maintain accurate records.
10. Perform basic computer functions related to labor transactions.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent, completed apprenticeship or technical degree.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Basic computer skills.
