CNC Machinist II 2nd shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist II for the 2nd shift to join our team. The ideal candidate will:

1. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
2. Set tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches.
3. Calculate dimensions and tolerances using basic mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and vernier calipers.
4. Verify settings by adhering to blueprint specifications and international standards.
5. Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, milling, and cutting operations, including turning, facing, knurling, and internal/external threading.
6. Understand and apply G and M Codes.
7. Adjust operations to meet print specifications and troubleshoot malfunctions.
8. Operate multiple machine groups, including Manual Mills, Manual Lathes, CNC Horizontal, CNC Vertical, and CNC Lathes.
9. Train others on mastered equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in machining preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• 3-5 years of machining experience.
• Experience with hand grinders, pedestal grinders, manual vertical mills, manual lathes, CNC mills, and CNC lathes.
• Knowledge of CNC M-code & G-code.
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Experience with SAP preferred.
