Job Overview:

The Machinist plays a key role in manufacturing, operating machinery to produce precision parts, ensuring safe operation and meeting specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC lathes and mills to produce parts per specifications
• Conduct dimensional inspections and document results
• Monitor machine operation for proper functionality
• Maintain a clean work environment and follow safety protocols
• Manufacture parts to required quantities and document processes in ERP system
• Inspect parts with precision tools like micrometers and calipers
• Set up and operate machines independently for precision manufacturing
• Interpret part routing, drawings, and specifications
• Replace worn inserts as needed
• Adjust machine offsets and perform change-overs
• Produce and inspect first article parts, ensuring documentation
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools
• Ability to lift at least 70 pounds and perform labor tasks
• Adaptability in a team environment
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays
• Certification to operate forklift, pallet jack, and crane
• Ability to read instructions, quality control, and safety guidelines
• Effective communication skills
• Basic math and computer skills
• Familiarity with metal-cutting machinery
