Qualifications

• Strong machining experience with manual and/or CNC equipment.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Advanced knowledge of machining practices, tooling, and precision measurement.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools for complex machining projects.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and GD&T.
• Select tooling, fixtures, and workholding devices; determine machining processes.
• Calculate speeds and feeds, offsets, and depths of cut; set up parameters.
• Perform turning, milling, boring, drilling, grinding, threading.
• Troubleshoot tooling, machine issues, dimensional variations, and process inefficiencies; inspect components.
• Perform complex repair, modification, rework, and fabrication.

Machinist II

Pay: $22.00 – $28.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

This role is ideal for someone who can confidently operate both manual and CNC equipment, interpret complex drawings, and deliver precision results while helping drive continuous improvement throughout the shop.

Responsibilities

? Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools for complex machining projects.

? Interpret and work from:

• Engineering drawings
• Specifications
• Work instructions
• GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)

? Select and configure:

• Tooling
• Fixtures
• Workholding devices
• Machining processes

? Calculate and adjust:

• Speeds and feeds
• Offsets
• Depths of cut
• Machine setup parameters

? Perform advanced machining operations, including:

• Turning
• Milling
• Boring
• Drilling
• Grinding
• Threading

? Troubleshoot and resolve:

• Tooling issues
• Machine problems
• Dimensional variations
• Process inefficiencies
• Inspect completed components using precision measuring and inspection equipment.
• Perform complex repair, modification, rework, and fabrication assignments.

Required:
