Qualifications

• Formal education as listed: High School diploma or GED.
• 7+ years of experience in machinist roles or equivalent.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficient with precision measurement and tooling.
• Comfortable using CNC or manual machine tools as required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and specs to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Set up and operate mills, lathes, grinders, and other machines with appropriate fixtures and tools.
• Monitor machine operation and adjust controls to maintain tolerance and quality.
• Assemble parts as needed and perform welding or cutting operations when required.
• Mentor other team members and assist supervisor with job quotes and cost controls.
