Superior Industries is seeking a Machinist I to help produce high-quality parts. You will set up and operate Drill Press, Lathe, and Mill, read blueprints, and adjust machines to meet specifications in a safety-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading a tape measure with accuracy to 1/8, 1/16, and 1/32 inches.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints with accuracy.
• Experience using precision measuring tools like calipers and micrometers.
• Knowledgeable in dimensions and sizing of common structural steel materials.

Responsibilities

• Process raw materials into machined parts per production needs and job specs.
• Set up and operate a variety of machines, including Drill Press, Lathe, and Mill.
• Perform machine adjustments, routine maintenance, and ensure safe operation.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate part production.
• Edit and modify G&M code programs as needed.
• Manage and organize raw materials to minimize waste and maintain a clean area.
