Superior Industries in Loganville, GA is seeking a Machinist I to set up and operate a variety of machines, read blueprints, and edit G&M code programs as needed to ensure quality parts.

Day shift positions include weekly pay, medical/dental/vision, PTO/holidays, 401K with 5% match, boot reimbursements, and on‑the‑spot bonuses.

Formación

• Ability to read tapes to 1/8, 1/16 and 1/32 inches.
• Competence reading blueprints with accuracy.
• Experience with precision measuring tools and problem solving.

Responsabilidades

• Process raw materials into machined parts per specs.
• Set up and operate Drill Press, Lathe, and Mill.
• Perform adjustments, maintenance and ensure safe operation.
• Read blueprints and interpret G&M code programs.
• Organize materials to minimize waste and keep workspace clean.

A Machinist I is responsible for completing the following duties:

• Process raw materials into machined parts according to production needs and job specifications.
• Set up and operate a variety of machines, including Drill Press, Lathe, and Mill
• Perform machine adjustments, routine maintenance, and ensure safe operation in alignment with company safety standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate part production.
• Edit and modify G&M code programs as needed.
• Manage and organize raw materials to minimize waste and maintain a clean, orderly work environment.

Day Shift

• 6:00am - 4:30pm Monday through Thursday, 6:00am - 2:30pm Friday
• Weekly paycheck

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading a tape measure with accuracy to 1/8", 1/16", and 1/32" increments, with a strong understanding of inch-to-decimal conversions.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints with accuracy.
• Experience in using precision measuring tools, including digital and vernier calipers and micrometers.
• Knowledgeable in dimensions and sizing of common structural steel materials.
