Job summary

Superior Industries is seeking a skilled Machinist I to join our Loganville, GA team. The role involves turning raw materials into precision parts, setting up and operating Drill Press, Lathe, and Mill, and ensuring parts meet detailed blueprints.

The position is night shift (4:00pm–4:30am, Mon–Thu) with a $3.00 night differential. Benefits include weekly pay, health/dental/vision, PTO/holidays, 401(k) with 5% match, boot reimbursement, and spot bonuses.

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading a tape measure to 1/8”, 1/16”, 1/32” increments.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Experience with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Knowledge of dimensions and sizing of common structural steel materials.

Responsibilities

• Process raw materials into machined parts per production needs and specs.
• Set up and operate Drill Press, Lathe, and Mill.
• Perform machine adjustments and routine maintenance per safety standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure correct part production.
• Edit and modify G&M code programs as needed.
• Organize raw materials to minimize waste and keep a clean work area.

• Set up and operate a variety of machines, including Drill Press, Lathe, and Mill
• Perform machine adjustments, routine maintenance, and ensure safe operation in alignment with company safety standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate part production.
• Edit and modify G&M code programs as needed.
• Manage and organize raw materials to minimize waste and maintain a clean, orderly work environment.

Night Shift

• 4:00pm – 4:30am Monday – Thursday
• $3.00 Night Shift Differential

Qualifications
