Stanley Black & Decker is hiring a Machinist for Coiling on the 2nd shift (4pm-12:30am) in Danbury, CT. Training on the 1st shift for up to 6 months is available. Expect a base wage of $26.69/hour with a $0.80 shift differential and potential overtime.

The role focuses on setting up and operating coiling equipment, maintaining tooling, and ensuring quality and safety standards, with opportunities to grow within a global manufacturing leader.

• Strong attention to quality, safety, and housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain coiling and related production equipment to meet quality and production standards while following all safety and housekeeping requirements.
• Maintain setups by replacing perishable tooling and keeping machines production-ready.
• Clean, color, sort, and package inserts/parts as required.
• Inspect your own work to prescribed quality standards and correct issues immediately.
• Accurately complete required records (counts, time, and production reporting).
• Operate inspection and production reporting systems as required.
• Immediately notify supervision of problems, delays, quality concerns, or safety issues impacting production.
