Job Requirements:

1. Description: Set up, adjust, and operate a variety of NC/CNC controlled lathes or machining centers to perform turning, boring, threading, contouring, milling, drilling, tapping, reaming, and angle and taper cuts to close tolerances and finish requirements. Work from routings, process sheets, and blueprints. Use precision instruments to set up and inspect work. Assist in establishing program requirements, make machine adjustments, and report issues. Recommend tooling, fixtures, and operational sequences. Mount and secure tooling, fixtures, and workpieces. Help train new operators. Run secondary operations when applicable.
2. Requirements: Experience with Fanuc controls preferred. Solid knowledge of machine shop and CNC techniques. At least two years of CNC turning experience. Strong skills in shop math and blueprint reading. Experience with hoists and cranes. Personal tools and willingness to purchase additional tools. Experience on large diameter vertical lathes is helpful. Ability to lift up to 38 lbs.
