Responsible for the planning, layout, setup, operation and tool adjustments for a variety of conventional or automatic machines. Work from blueprints, process sheets and sketches to perform production tasks, which may include the cutting and shaping of metal to precision dimensions. Inspect and build machining operations against specified tolerances. Work may involve fabrication, sheet metal operations, or machine hardware and assemblies. Provide recommendations for material usage and design improvements. Produce high‑precision components, troubleshoot complex tooling issues, and ensure zero defects. Minimal supervision required.
