Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read prints and interpret job orders.
• Willingness to rotate shifts and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Experience with lathes, mills or grinders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend on-site apprenticeship classes and on-the-job learning, progressing in a 4-year program.
• Prioritize, plan and prepare work; determine sequence of operations.
• Read prints & job orders to determine dimensions and setup machines.
• Set up and operate 5-axis CNC lathes and CNC mills to meet specs.
• Calculate and set controls or enter commands for machine CNC media.
• Verify finished work against specifications using micrometers and calipers.
