Job summary

Manitowoc Pattern & Mfg, Co. in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, is seeking a Machinist for Friday–Sunday 2nd shift. You’ll set up production equipment, read process sheets, and create tool paths to optimize quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities include collaborating with engineering, ensuring ISO/IATF/AS9100 compliance, designing basic 3-D models for tooling, and maintaining machines and tooling. This role offers a 3-day workweek with competitive pay and childcare reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Read and understand process sheets and work instructions in English.
• Ability to hear and vision requirements for job safety and quality.
• Physical ability to perform manufacturing tasks with focus and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Create 3-5 axis tool paths utilizing Master Cam Software.
• Determine methods, cutter types, and cutting parameters based on material design and specifications.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure quality and design objectives are achieved.
• Design basic 3-D computer models, drawings, and specifications for tooling and machined elements.
• Comply with ISO, IATF, and AS9100 standards when documenting machine setup.
• Perform general maintenance, cleaning, and organization of equipment and tooling.
• Other duties as assigned to ensure efficient operators.
