Forged Solutions Group, Custom Alloy Division, in High Bridge, NJ, is seeking a Machinist capable of operating CNC and manual machines across Levels 1–4 during the 2nd shift. The role includes reading blueprints, measuring with calipers and micrometers, and maintaining shop cleanliness.

Compensation ranges from entry to senior levels with 2nd shift differential; opportunities for advancement, safety emphasis, and mentoring of junior machinists are emphasized within a busy manufacturing

Formación

• Entry/Junior level 0–2 years; certificate/technical training advantageous.
• Tends machines (CNC or manual), loads/unloads parts, performs basic measurement and maintains shop cleanliness.
• Performs setups (CNC mills/lathes), makes minor programming adjustments, and conducts first-article inspection.
• Performs independent setup and programming (CAM software Mastercam) from blueprints; creates fixtures/tooling and handles complex materials.

Responsabilidades

• Tends machines (CNC or manual), loads/unloads parts, performs basic measurement, and maintains shop cleanliness.
• Performs setups (CNC mills/lathes), makes minor programming adjustments, and conducts first-article inspection.
• Performs independent setup and programming (CAM software/Mastercam) from blueprints; creates and designs fixtures/tooling.
• Develops new procedures for complex, high-tolerance parts; mentors junior machinists and assists with CAM programming.
