Job summary

SMS group Inc. in Washington, Pennsylvania seeks a CNC/Manual Machinist for 2nd shift. Must have 1+ year of machining experience, including manual and CNC operations on various machines and controls (Heidenhain, Fanuc, Siemens).

You will read blueprints, set up and operate equipment, and measure parts with micrometers, calipers, and tape measures. Forklift and crane operation training provided; outstanding safety practices, attendance, and teamwork are expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of machining experience, manual and CNC.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Commitment to safety policies and working with others.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate CNC and manual machines.
• Perform inspections with measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
• Read blueprints and follow technical drawings.
• Maintain safe work environment and report hazards.
