WeatherTech Direct is seeking a well-qualified Machinist who specializes in fabricating custom injection mold bases.

Hourly rate starts at $25/hour or more based on skill set.

As a Machinist, you will:

• Fabricate custom injection mold bases using Haas CNC machines.
• Use CNC machines, manual machines, and other hand and power tools to repair and update mold tools.
• Perform all assigned machine shop operations needed to make mold tools that meet precise specifications.
• Make adjustments to machines to control speed, material feed, and path of the cut, as well as ensure machines are set up properly, working well, and producing quality products.
• Confirm machines are working at full capacity, are stocked with needed materials, and are well-maintained; perform periodic checks on output.
• Follow company safety rules and keep designated work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience operating CNC machines in a tooling/machine shop environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Apprenticeship or certification/associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience building custom injection mold bases.
• Experience using Haas CNC machines.
• Familiar with a variety of CNC machines, manual machines, and hand/power tools.
• Mechanically inclined and should understand basic math.
• Experience using CAM and NX CAM Software is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
