Ethan Allen in Vermont is hiring for an entry-level woodworker to set up and operate a range of woodworking machines. You will cut, rip, match, glue and inspect surface lumber according to routing specifications to maximize yield.

Set up and operate a variety of woodworking machines to cut, rip, match, glue and inspect surface lumber to Routing specifications to achieve maximum yield. To remove all defects using woodworking machinery.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Basic math with an emphasis on fractions and conversions.
• Understanding of lumber species and grade specifications to achieve maximum yield after 90 days training.

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $18 to $22, depending on experience.
