Job summary

Ethan Allen Global, Inc. in Vermont is seeking a woodworker to set up and operate a variety of woodworking machines to cut, rip, match, glue and inspect surface lumber according to routing specifications to maximize yield.

No experience is required, with training provided to enable setup and operation of multiple machines within 90 days, plus reading routing sheets and understanding lumber species and grade specs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• No experience necessary.
• Ability to set up & operate multiple machines after 90 days training.
• Ability to read standard routing sheets after 90 days training.
• Basic math with an emphasis on fractions and conversions.
• Understanding of lumber species and grade specifications to achieve maximum yield after 90 days training.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $17.00 to $19.00, depending on experience.
