Job Title: Machinist

Location: Torrance, CA

Salary: $24.00–$31.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual, automatic, cutoff, and abrasive saws, punch press equipment, deburring machines, honing machines, drilling machines, EDM, lathes, centerless grinders, and other tools.
• Perform complete in-process operations on envelope assemblies and other parts requiring precision honing, such as TWT electron gun drilling and machining.
• Review transfer sheet details, work on discrepancies, carefully understand and apply customer requirements, and reduce scrap; dispose of unavoidable scrap to the proper area.
