Responsibilities

Position Overview

We need a machinist— not a maintenance tech.

This is a MACHINIST position. Not maintenance. Not repair. We want someone who lives and breathes metal removal — turning raw stock into precision parts. If you have look at a blueprint and already know how you'd machine it, we want to talk to you NOW. ADVANCED MATHEMATICAL SKILLS NEEDED

Pay: $28–$38/hr. We pay for talent and we're not afraid to go higher.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, engineering drawings, sketches, and work orders.
• Set up and operate manual machining equipment including lathes, mills, drill presses, grinders, and saws.
• Set up and operate CNC machining equipment as required.
• Machine, fabricate, modify, and repair components to specified tolerances and dimensions.
• Select proper tooling, cutting tools, fixtures, and measuring instruments for machining operations.
• Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Verify finished products meet quality and dimensional specifications.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and cleaning of machine shop equipment.
• Maintain accurate job records, production reports, and quality documentation.
• Follow company safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and machine shop best practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and management teams to meet project timelines and objectives.
