An established industry player is seeking a skilled machinist to join their team in Bangor. This role involves setting up and operating various machining equipment, including CNC multi-access machines. Responsible for setting up and operating saws, milling machines, NC machining centers, and coordinating measuring machines (CMMs) as required.
Required Education/Experience
Graduate of any recognized machinist or tool maker course (e.g., tech school, industrial or Armed Forces program), OR
Minimum of one year experience in set up and operation of Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) multi-access machining.
All candidates must successfully pass a written machinist assessment.
Preferred Education/Experience
Two-year post-secondary degree in Machine Tool Technology.
Two years manual machining (mill, turn, or drill) experience.
Pay
$28.8990 – $30.2136 /hour starting (entry level machinist).
$30.2136 – $31.0338/hour after successful completion of training and introductory probation.

Work Schedule
GE Vernova Bangor Shifts (not all shifts are available for all openings):
4 – 10 hour days Monday-Thursday Day Shift (5AM-3:30PM)
Night Shift (3:30PM-2AM)
3 – 12 hour days Friday-Sunday Day Shift (6AM-6:30PM)
Night Shift (6PM-6:30AM).
