Job summary

RadNet, Inc. in Marion, Illinois, is hiring for a full-time position responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the manufacturing section. This role entails directing team leaders, improving overall plant efficiency, and supporting cross-sectional efforts within the company.

Job description

Summary

This position is responsible for managing the day‑to‑day operations of the manufacturing section.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Managing, coaching and directing Off Line Team Leaders (OLT's).
  • Directing the problem‑solving activities of the manufacturing area.
  • Analyzing and continuously scrap and detect products produced.
  • Analyzing and continuously improving overall plant efficiency.
  • Determine and prepare T/M daily work (Standardize work).
  • Determine and prepare section training requirements and plan.
  • Implement abnormal occurrence plan when necessary.
  • Supporting the efforts of other sections within the company to achieve goals and targets.
  • Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
  • Will perform other reasonably related tasks within the Company as required by Management.
Supervisory Responsibilities

This position will manage and direct OTL's and Hourly Team Members.

Qualifications, Education & Experience Required
  • 5 years of prior applicable experience in manufacturing.

Organizational (and Outside) Relationships

All other ALM Departments and various outside vendors and customers.

Work Environment
  • Some dust, noise, oils, greases, grinding debris, compressed air, metal shavings, propane, solvents and occasional heavy lifting.
  • Exposed to hazardous machinery and/or conditions that could result in injury up to and including a fatality if safety measures are not followed and adhered to.
  • Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, oils. The performance of this position normally requires exposure to a typical manufacturing area where, under certain conditions, the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and/or safety shoes is required. Primary environment: temperature of work area may be affected by outside temperatures and machining. Industrial lighting provided.
