Job summary

Nbutexas is seeking a Software Support Engineer to join a long-standing machining manufacturer. You will provide technical support across sales, marketing, and service teams and help ensure software conformance with customer applications.

You will test software, contribute to time studies, and assist with customer training. Occasional travel may be required as part of delivering hands-on support.

Qualifications

• Proven machinist or applications experience in 3 and 5-axis mills and multi-axis lathes.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software.
• Knowledge of work-holding concepts and tool selection.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to sales, marketing, and service.
• Test software for application conformance.
• Assist with time studies, customer training, and applications support (phone and travel).
