Job summary

Falcon Shocks, a division of TeraFlex Inc., is seeking a Machine Shop Helper in West Jordan, UT to support the machining department. You will assist machinists with material preparation, part handling, and tools, helping maintain smooth daily operations.

Ideal candidates are reliable, safety-minded, able to stand all day, lift up to 25 lbs, and work well in a team. The role offers starting pay of $18 per hour plus benefits and long-term growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Previous shop or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Forklift experience a plus (training provided if needed).
• Must be able to stand, stoop, reach, and climb ladders for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and heavier loads with team assistance.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Pull and prepare raw material for machining orders.
• Operate a band saw to cut metal stock to specified lengths.
• Deliver finished goods to appropriate departments or storage locations.
• Polish and deburr finished parts to meet quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the machine shop.
• Assist with routine machine area maintenance and cleanup tasks.
• Follow all safety procedures and use PPE as required.
