Job summary

Jamco Interiors is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to plan, develop, and continuously improve machining processes for aerospace-grade components in Everett, WA. You will own methods of manufacture, tooling, and process solutions, guiding production and less-experienced engineers.

You will lead root-cause analysis for machining issues, drive cycle-time and cost improvements, and collaborate across Design Build Team and other functions to ensure manufacturability and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline with 3–5 years of related experience.
• Demonstrated CNC machining/manufacturing experience is strongly preferred; tooling, GD&T, CAD/3D data review, ERP systems experience expected.

Responsibilities

• Independently plan and develop machining processes for assigned products, including operation sequence, tooling, and documentation.
• Develop and improve CNC processes, including tooling selection, feeds and speeds, setup strategy, and workholding.
• Lead troubleshooting of machining problems such as tool life, chatter, surface finish, and cycle time.
• Design or coordinate development of tooling, fixtures, and process improvements for production.
• Lead manufacturability reviews and recommend changes to improve quality, cost, and producibility.
• Establish setup/run-time estimates for planning, quoting, and capacity analysis.
• Provide technical guidance to production personnel and engineers.
