Job summary

Hscast is seeking an experienced supervisor to oversee document control and process functions in the Machining Operations. The role involves guiding Machinists, managing parts and tools, and ensuring efficient fixture work for new castings and changes.

The candidate should have strong CNC programming skills, 5-axis machining experience, and a background in Mazatrol and Mazak systems. Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Machining, Engineering, or related field highly preferred.
• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from an accredited college or university OR at least five years of current, related on-the-job experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all document control and process functions within the Machining Operations.
• Supervises and guides Machinists, assigns work as needed and supports them with questions.
• Orders parts, materials, and tools required for operations.
• Quotes fixture work for new castings and changes; reviews fixtures with Machinists.
• Oversees documents in machining and distributes work orders, blueprints and drawings.
• Recommends purchases of equipment and tooling; participates in PFMEA and control plans.
• Performs CNC programming; ensures adherence to work instructions and quality standards.
