Job summary

Harrison Steel Castings Co. in Indiana seeks a skilled supervisor to manage document control and process functions within Machining Operations. You will coordinate work, assist machinists, and ensure accurate drawings and blueprints.

The role requires CAD/CAM experience, familiarity with Mastercam 5-axis milling/turning, Mazatrol programming, and various controls. You will also contribute to PFMEA, Control Plans, and work instructions to maintain quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Machining, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Associate's degree or 5+ years of related on-the-job experience acceptable.
• Experience in Mastercam 5-axis milling and turning, Mazatrol programming, and Mazak controls highly desirable.
• Proficiency with EIA/ISO programming and Fanuc controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all document control and process functions within the Machining Operations.
• Assigns work to Machinists and assists with their questions.
• Quotes fixture work for new castings and casting changes.
• Monitors machinists for issues with fixtures and makes corrections to speed up operation.
• CNC programming responsibilities.
• Supports PFMEA, Control Plans, and Work Instructions development.
