Job summary

O’Neal Manufacturing Services in Indiana is seeking a Machine Operator I to safely operate and maintain a range of production equipment. You will set up tooling, monitor processes, and ensure high-quality output across multiple machines.

Responsibilities include following safety guidelines, maintaining accuracy, and keeping the work area clean. Strong reading of blueprints and English communication are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints.
• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Ability to operate forklifts and cranes; must maintain certifications.
• Ability to read measuring tools (tape, calipers, micrometers).
• Ability to convert fractions to decimals and metric to English.
• Speak, write, and comprehend English clearly.
• Capable of setting up and operating one or more processing machines.
• Strong safety and quality adherence.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies to maintain a safe work environment.
• Set up and operate various production machines.
• Adjust expendable tooling, guides, jigs, and fixtures as needed.
• Operate machines including angle line, bevellers, saws, plasma/oxy burners, laser cutters, rollers, presses, welders, CNCs.
• Ensure error-free work for internal and external customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
