Job summary

O’Neal Manufacturing Services in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a diligent Material Operator for CNC cutting operations. You will safely set up and run oxyfuel, plasma, and laser cutting machines, load heavy plates, and select cutting programs to produce parts per drawings.

Candidates should be detail-oriented, capable of reading simple blueprints, and proficient with measuring tools. The role requires strong safety, quality, and productivity focus and physical ability to handle heavy materials

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints.
• Proficiency with measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometers).
• Ability to operate forklifts and cranes and maintain certifications.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
• Set up and operate CNC cutting equipment (oxyfuel, plasma, laser).
• Load heavy steel plates and select appropriate cutting programs.
• Inspect first-piece parts for dimensional accuracy.
