Job summary

Carlisle Companies Incorporated is seeking an Operator I to run assigned production machinery and support Operator II/III with packing and end-of-line tasks. Overtime may be required, and travel is not expected.

The role involves reviewing work orders, communicating material needs, monitoring equipment, performing lockout/tagout, and ensuring safety while meeting production goals. Candidates should be detail-oriented and able to learn new processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to follow Carlisle Companies Incorporated safety policies and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Operates machinery of assigned department to complete work orders.
  • Receives and reviews work orders.
  • Communicates the required amount of material to other departments.
  • Monitors machine operation for optimal performance and quality.
  • Performs hazard-based functions including lock out/tag out and daily inspections.
  • Stacks, sorts, and bundles material per standard work.
  • Assists with 5S, SQDC, and housekeeping.
  • Records data for quality control and improvement functions.
  • Meets production goals while complying with safety requirements.
  • Assists with packaging and end-of-line work as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
