Job summary

INNIO in Waukesha, Wisconsin, is hiring a CNC Machinist to setup and operate advanced machining centers used to manufacture large engine components. You will support the launch of Makino horizontal and 5-axis centers, Waldrich Coburg bridge mills, and FANUC automated cells.

You will read drawings, perform inspections, and troubleshoot tooling and process issues, helping to improve quality, cycle times, and tool life for the new operation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience or equivalent technical training/apprenticeship
• Experience setting up and operating CNC milling equipment
• Ability to read technical drawings and perform dimensional inspections
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a hands-on, continuous improvement mindset

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring

• High School Diploma or GED

• Strong understanding of tooling, offsets, feeds, speeds, work holding, and machining fundamentals
• Ability to read technical drawings and perform dimensional inspections
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a hands‑on, continuous improvement mindset
• Experience with horizontal machining centers, 5-axis machining, FANUC or Siemens controls, or large‑part machining is a plus, but not required
