Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist instructors with preparation and cleanup of laboratory and shop activities.
• Organize, inventory, and restock machining tools, materials, and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of machining labs, classrooms, and storage areas.
• Assist with basic maintenance of equipment under instructor supervision.
• Prepare training materials, handouts, and instructional aids as needed.
• Help monitor tool checkout and return procedures.
• Enter inventory and program-related data into computer systems and spreadsheets.
• Assist with student recruitment events, open houses, and program demonstrations.
• Support faculty and staff with special projects related to the machining program.
• Follow all college safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and shop safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned that support the operation of the Machining Technology program.
