Job summary

The Armor Group in Mason, OH is seeking an estimator/quoting specialist to service new and existing accounts. You will interpret drawings, understand fabrication times, and prepare cost estimates and proposals using Armor templates.

This role requires attention to detail, strong communication with customers and internal teams, and proficiency with MS Office and AutoCAD; prior welding/fabrication knowledge is a plus and 1–2 years of related experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret customer project specifications.
• Estimate costs using estimating tools.
• Prepare proposals using Armor templates.
• Understand fabrication and shop equipment timings.
• Maintain accurate computations.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team.
• Time management to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.
• Welding/fabrication knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service new and existing accounts through estimating/quoting, order taking and customer communication.
• Interpret drawings and customer specifications.
• Prepare proposals using Armor templates.
• Coordinate with customers, outside sales reps, vendors, company employees, and shop personnel.
• Assist manager with additional tasks as assigned.
