Job summary

Partners In Recovery LLC in Jasper, IN is seeking a Leadperson for the Machining crew to guide non-supervisory operations across the Cut Cell, Rimming, and Receiving areas. You will support the Machining Supervisor and help ensure safety, productivity, and quality.

This role emphasizes hands-on leadership, team motivation, clear communication, and collaboration with support functions to drive efficient manufacturing processes at the Plywood facility.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in manufacturing processes preferred.
• Prior experience in machining preferred.
• Knowledge of core materials preferred.
• Knowledge of the standard and metric measuring systems required.

Responsibilities

• Coach, support, and train team members.
• Learn all aspects of the department’s operation, including filling in when other team members are absent.
• Ensure team members meet safety and productivity requirements.
• Meet quality expectations by achieving quality goals.
• Create attainable expectations for your team.
• Collaborate with support functions to solve problems and be the solution; act as first line for safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Enter employee hours, non-control and transfer at end of shift or when supervisor is absent.
• Be knowledgeable of the cut cell, rimming, and receiving processes.
• Maintain great communication with team members about expectations.
• Lead daily meetings with team members and attend daily production meetings.
