Job summary

PEMEX Deer Park is seeking a Planner Specialist II - Machinery to lead planning for rotating equipment across capital projects, turnarounds, and maintenance. You will develop safe, efficient work plans and detailed job packages for pumps, compressors, steam turbines, and related equipment while coordinating with operations, maintenance, reliability, engineering, and contractors.

Qualifications

Minimum seven (7) years of experience with rotating equipment in refinery, petrochemical, chemical, power generation, or heavy industrial facilities.
Experience in maintenance planning, turnaround planning, project planning, or rotating equipment execution.
Knowledge of centrifugal pumps, compressors, steam turbines, gearboxes, and related equipment.
Strong understanding of refinery maintenance practices and contractor management.
Experience supporting refinery turnarounds and major capital projects.
Familiarity with API standards for rotating equipment and RCFA/RCM programs.

Responsibilities

Develop safe, efficient, and cost-effective work plans for rotating equipment.
Create detailed job packages, BOMs, labor/material estimates, and contractor scopes.
Ensure hazard identification, LOTO, permits, and safe work practices are included in plans.
Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, Engineering, and Contractors to meet schedules and budgets.
